Crocheted Owls

When selling at markets it's good to have a variety of items, including small things that are cute and draw people into your booth (including kids). I've been making these little owls for a couple of years and they are always popular. Whoo can resist?

The pattern is Owls Two Ways and is free on Ravelry. I crochet mine with Lily Sugar n' Cream cotton yarn. The face is made with white felt circles (I made a template out of cardboard to keep them all consistent) and 8mm safety eyes. I embroider the beak on using yellow yarn. Before closing up the owl I add some beans in the bottom and then stuff it with polyfill.

If you'd like to buy an owl that is already made, I have several colors available in my shop or you can come see me at my next market.
